BRODIE'S PEDIGREE
Brodie was one of the greatest Labradors that we were privelged enough to have owned and loved.
Every successfull kennel can trace a significant amount of their lines to a few dogs that
forever impacted their kennel and the dogs that are in it. Brodie is one of those dogs and is
our foundation stud dog. He was imported from Canada and was sired and whelped by Canadian
Kennel Club Bench Champions. Brodie's pedigree was incredible in that it contained some of
the greatest Labradors to have impacted the breed from the United States, Canada, and Great
Britain. He was a tremendous producer often with his puppies taking after him and many of
them possessing better traits and qualities than Brodie himself. Furthering his impact as
our foundation stud dog was that Brodie was able to produce Labradors in all three colors
due to his chocolate factor, therefore Brodie is behind most of the Labradors that we have
today regardless of whether they are yellow, black, or chocolate.
Brodie produced many wonderful companions in homes throughout the Midwest and produced
Labradors that excelled in the show ring and the fields and marshes. He was truly an
amazing dog, a sound dog, and a great dog. We miss him and feel priveleged to have him
behind so many of our Labradors today.
