Maverick is yellow male Labrador whelped at Amber Sky Labradors on August 25, 2005.
He was sired by Rudy and whelped by
Jacklyn. Maverick has the brown of liver nose which is the
same color nose as found on a chocolate Labrador. He has that color nose and the lighter eyes
due to the fact that both his sire and dam are chocolate factored, or in other words are able
to produce chocolate puppies. Here is what Maverick's owner has to say,
"I could not have asked for a more calm, sweet, and caring dog than Maverick. After letting
go of my previous lab of 14 years, Maverick not only caught my eye, but also my heart.
He has such a gentle and quiet personality about him that you can’t help but love.
Maverick is so laid back that the only time he barks is at a command and when a treat
is the reward.
After reading about Rudy’s personality and hearing from my parents who
had met Rudy when picking up Maverick’s little brother Gunner, who is from Rudy & Rosie's
recent litter, I now know where Maverick gets his wonderful traits. Maverick loves
the water and enjoys car rides, playing fetch, and sitting at the softball fields
watching all of the people having fun. I would recommend Amber Sky Labradors to
