TESSA'S PEDIGREE
Rumajas Amber Sky Tessa, 'Tessa' is a sweet, calm, and well balanced chocolate Labrador female
puppy that we bred at Amber Sky Labradors. She was whelped in January of 2007 and was the only
chocolate female in the litter and she stood out immediately as the pick female and pick puppy in
the litter. At the time of seven weeks she was still the biggest puppy in the litter, a spot she
occupied since day one. Tessa has a nice 'English' type build complimented by a nice square head
with a soft almost sad whymsical expression at times. She is a fireball when she plays with her
friends here and she is content to sit or lie beside you at any point.
She is sired by our own Star (Rumajas Amber Sky Lone Star) and whelped by
our own Jill (Rumajas Amber Sky Jillian).
Tessa is an excellent example of the type and temperament that we strive to produce.
Tessa is
the result of our third generation of breeding on both her sire and dam's side. We bred both
her sire, Rumajas Amber Sky Lone Star and her dam, Rumajas Amber Sky Jillian both of which are
excellent Labradors and champion sired. Tessa has a different pedigree from most of our chocolate
labradors and most chocolates in general as you have to go back at least three generations to find
the first chocolate labrador in her pedigree. Tessa is a descendant from one of our foundation
labradors, Terra, who is the most immediate chocolate labrador in
Tessa's pedigree. We have high hopes for Tessa as she grows and we know that she will combine the
best attributes from her sire and dam when growing into a beautiful chocoalte female labrador.
