Rumajas Amber Sky Crimson Gauge, aka Gauge, is a solid, square, muscular fox red English male stud at Amber Sky Farm. What makes Gauge so special is that he is a descendant of
some of the first fox red Labradors that we bred, specifically, Reba (Rumajas Amber Sky Reba). He has a strong and muscular build with significant
bone in his front and throughout. He is still young so he will continue to fill out and his weight in the low 90s will increase as he fills in his big frame. Gauge has a
square boxy head complimented by his soft and extremley expressive face. He has an incredible temperament and is one of our ambassadors and greets everyone when they arrive.
Gauge loves to lay on couches and beds and will often sleep for long stretches of time curled up into a bao so that he only takes up the space of one couch cushion.
Gauge is a descendant of one of our foundation females, Terra,(Rumajas Lady Terra). We bred three generations of Labradors behind Gauge starting
with Terra's son, Jake, (Rumajas King Jake), her grand-daughter, Lumpy (Rumajas Amber Sky Pride and Joy), and
Terra's great-grandaughter, Reba (Rumajas Amber Sky Crimson Reba). It would be a pup from one of the litters that Reba had with the
first American Kennel Club show champion, Cajun (Am. Ch. Keepsake Cajun) that a pup would go to another breeder and eventually form on of the
strands in Gauge's pedigree. Gauge was bred by Gibson Labradors in Indiana and was sired by Rocky (Gibson's Royal Rocky) and whelped by
Sriracha (Gibson's Slammin' Sriracha).
