HARRIET'S PEDIGREE
(Click on her pedigree link to see pictures of her ancestors)
Hundehaus Amber Sky Stormy Harriet, "Harriet" is an excellent example of an "English" type chocolate female Labrador. She
came to us through one of our previous puppies that we had sold to another breeder, Mark Piehler who lives in New York.
Harriet is a grand-daughter to our own Finn (Amber Sky Mudboat Finn) and
Toula (Amber Sky Stormy Toulah) both of which are champion sired "English" type chocolate
Labradors. What makes it interesting is that we had never kept any Labradors out of Toulah's litter and we regretted that
decision due to the fact that she always produced nice Labradors and the fact that she had an incredible pedigree. Toulah's sire,
Am. Ch. Commander Coleridge was imported from England by Sally Bell of
Borador Labradors in Lewis Center, Ohio.
Harriet is an attractive Labrador bitch who has a nice "English" type boxy head, with a soft expression that is highlighted
by her burnt sugar colored eyes, and a nice amount of bone in her straight front. She is a descendant from one of our foundation females
Naomi (Cupid's Touch of Daylyn) combined with both titled and non titled dogs that we
selected in trying to produce a calm loving Labrador that conforms to the breed standard and is pleasing to the eye.
Harriet's dam, Amber Sky Moonshine Maggie Mae was bred with a strong
English type chocolate male Labrador, Arabador Big Ben's Ragin Bull who comes from
significant Labrdor kennels and has many exceptional chocolate Labradors behind him in his pedigree.
Harriet has a nice calm temperament and is an extremely gentle dog. As mentioned earlier she had a classic "English" build
and weighs approximately 70 pounds. She adores attention her temperament is such that she is at home with both people and
dogs and is very happy go lucky in whichever environment she finds herself in. It is our hope that Harriet passes on her many
excellent traits to her offspring.
