JOHNNY'S PEDIGREE
Rumajas Amber Sky John Henry, Johnny is a wonderful black male Labrador retriever. He is our most
balanced dog that we have bred in our twenty-three year commitment of working with Labradors.
Johnny has a wonderful temperament, beautiful type, physically sound, excellent athletic movement,
and a soft expression on his face highlighted by his soft amber eyes. He is a gentle giant with
a wonderful temperament. Johnny has good bone and has an excellent topline and a strong build
highlighted by a thick muscular chest. He is producing himself and his temperament in all of
his puppies. Johnny is able to produce black, yellow, and chocolate puppies.
Johnny traces his ancestors back to one of our foundation Labradors, a chocolate female,
Rumajas Lady Terra, Terra. She was an excellent Labrador with
a great pedigree that contained some of the greatest chocolate Labradors to ever impact the
breed and push it forward to the type, temperament, and soundness that we know it to be today.
He is a litter mate to both Chelsea and Ellie and shares many of the wonderful characteristics
that these three Labradors possess. Johnny was sired by one of our influential stud dogs,
Gaines Mill Jeb, Jeb who produced very sound and type Labradors
that were the perfect characterization of the term 'English' labrador due to their broad head,
stocky build, and short compact bodies. Johnny is a great dog and an excellent producer.
Johnny was one of three dogs that we kept out of Terra's last litter in November of 1999, he was
the only black male in the litter of black and yellow puppies. At the time we did not have a black
male stud dog so it only seemed natural for Johnny to stay. Accompanying him from that litter were
his sisters Chelsea (Rumajas Amber Sky Chelsea) and
Ellie (Rumajas Amber Sky Elliot) both of which are retired.
Together all three of these dogs have had a significant impact on our Labradors today. Johnny has
sired three Labradors that we currently have and are all black; Olivia,
Ollie, and Sammy. Ellie has
produced three wonderful Labradors all related to Johnny, Luke,
Polly, and Pudge. Chelsea has produced
three beautiful Labradors as well Cassie,
Chloe, and Jill.
