NAOMI'S PEDIGREE
Naomi was an exceptionally bred black Labrador female that is one of our two foundation females at
Amber Sky/Rumajas Labradors. She whelped several outstanding litters for us; two of those litters
were sired by American and Canadian Kennel Club bench champions. We would keep three Labradors from
those two litters from her litter that she was bred to
Am./Can. Ch. Banner's Muskelunge Buckeye we kept our Reily
(Amber Sky Sundance for Reily) a nice chocolate female and out of
Am./Can. Ch. Ashway's Muncie Von Hausman JH we kept a chocolate male,
Finn (Amber Sky's Mudboat Finn) and a black female, Jackie
(Amber Sky Jacklyn's Honor).
Naomi was a sweet dog with a very happy temperament. Initially shy when meeting people for the first
time she would warm up and want to be by their side so that she could be petted. Naomi had one habit
that she never lost her whole life, her desire to always have to carry her leash in her mouth at all
times. She would never let a leash hang from her choke collar, she always would carry the slack in
her mouth at all times. Naomi loved the water and swam in it every chance that she could get.
Naomi was a very stocky, thick, English type female that was low to the ground and many times resembled
a tank. She had a dark black, thick, dense, wire like coat that had a slight wave to it down her back
exactly as described in the American Kennel Club breed standard. Naomi produced many excellent puppies
in both black and chocolate and her excellent traits can be seen in her children and her grandchildren
that we currently have here today.
