Am. Ch. Briarwood's All Riled Up, Riley, is an incredible yellow "English" type Labrador Retriever that combines an impeccable pedigree and a wonderfull, calm, loving temperament.
Riley was bred by Paul and Stacey Sellers of Briarwood Labradors who also campaigned him to his
American Kennel Club Championship. He is a combination of some of the best Labrador kennels in Great Britain and the United States with some very influential titled Labradors
in the history of the breed. Riley is sired by an English import, Am. Ch.Raz-A-Mataz By Carromer, who was imported from the
famous Carromer Labrador Kennel located in Great Britain and whelped by an American Kennel Club Champion,
Am. Ch. Glaceridge By Design, Desi. In looking at Riley's background and the all the attributes of his sire and dam
he was destined for greatness as a puppy.
Riley is an excellent physcial representation of the Labrador Retriever as defined by the American Kennel Club breed standard. He has a s square, broad English type head,
complimented by a happy go luck expression. Riley is a very personable Labrador with his personality highlighted by his tendancy to grunting or snortig when he is happy and hears his name. He has a solid, straight
topline that leads into an excellent tailset. He has a thick, correct otter tail as outlined in the breed standard. Riley has nice angulation is his front shoulder and chest,
combined with a sgnificant amount of bone in his front. He has a dense, thick, correct Labrador coat that is light yellow in color. His coat is highlighted by a darker shade of
yellow down the middle of his back and on his ears.
Riley is truly an English typ Labrador in that his sire is a Labrador that was born and bred in England by the Carromer Labrador Kennel. The Carromer Labrador Kennel
derived many of their famous labradors from some of the most prestigous Labrador Kennels to have ever impacted the breed as we know it today. Behind Riley and Carromer Labradors
are influential Labradors from the following kennels: Poolstead Labradors, Rocheby Labradors, and the
Sandylands Labradors.
