Rumajas Amber Sky Lone Star - 'Star'
(Am/Can CH Acrewood's Due Me Justice x Rumajas Lady Sasha)

September 6, 1999

Rumajas Amber Sky Lone Star, 'Star' is a true Labrador in that he has both the classic English look and type combined with the hallmark calm temperament that has made Labradors so popular. He is one of our puppies that has grown up and produced many wonderful Labradors like himself over the years. It is hard to say what we love best about Star his English look or his calm loving temperament. Star is a solid muscular dog that has excellent movement, a nice correct front, tremendous amount of bone, and a soft kind expression.

Star is a very light yellow, almost white with dark black pigment around his eyes and his nose as well. He is a massive dog with tremendous bone, excellent topline and tailset, and has a deep barrel chest. The best assest that Star has though is his calm even keel temperament. It is this trait combined with his looks that make him such a special dog.

Star owes much of his assests especially his tremendous bone and straight front to his sire, Justice (Am./Can. Ch. Acrewood's Due Me Justice) who was a massive light yellow male Labrador. He had a great temperament and in 1997 was the 6th ranked Labrador in the nation amongst Labradors that were actively showing in conformation shows. Star's dam, Sasha, (Rumajas Lady Sasha) was one of the first black Labradors that we bred and she was a loyal loving companion who produced just a few puppies for us over the years, with Star being one. Sasha had a nice square head and excellent English conformation and type and was a solid bitch weighing about 90 pounds.

Star is a wonderful combination of both his sire's and dam's pedigree and is reproducing his temperament and type. You can see the type of puppy that Star is producing by looking at two of his daughters that we have, Polly (Rumajas Amber Sky Polly Pocket) and Pudge (Rumajas Amber Sky Pudge).
