Rumajas Amber Sky Stripe is an excellent example of our fifth generation of breeding here at Amber Sky. She is the perfect combination of a calm, loving temperament
combined with a striking English type and features. Stripe is a medium to light yellow coat color, however her coat has one unique characteristic which earned her name when she was born,
a black stripe of hair on her head. From the moment that she was whelped she was known as 'Stripe'. She is sired by our own Luke
(Rumajas Amber Sky Lucas) and whelped by our own Mara (Rumajas Amber Sky Mara).
Stripe has a nice square, boxy English type head with a soft kind expression complimented by her eyes which are always very expressive. She has a
nice amount of bone in her straight front and nicely angulated chest. Stripe has a nice straight topline and excellent tailset complimenting her strong athletic
build. Stripe is a nice height and when she is at her prime weight she has a strong, muscular appearance. She is a physically striking Labrador, however it is her temperament
which really makes her such a nice, ideal Labrador. She is always very happy to see you and seems to not have a care in the world when she is in your company. Stripe loves to be
the center of attention and when she has a habit of wagging her whole body when she wags her tail.
Stripe is our third generation of breeding on her sire's side and our fifth generation of breeding on her dam's side. She is line bred on one of our foundation bitches,
Terra (Rumajas Lady Terra). The line from Stripe to Terra would go through the following Labradors who we have all owned and bred on her dam's side:
Mara (Rumajas Amber Sky Mara), Chuck (Rumajas Amber Sky Charlie Brown) which is Stripe's grandsire,
Star (Rumajas Amber Sky Lone Star) who is Stripe's great grandsire who was our first
Labrador to carry the Amber Sky kennel name, and
Sasha (Rumajas Lady Sasha), Stripe's great-great-granddam, and ending at Terra. In addition to to the Labradors listed above there is one additional
dog tha we bred that is behind Stripe, Jacklyn (Amber Sky Jacklyn's Honor) which was one of our pups out of our Naomi
(Cupid's Touch of Daylyn) and Muncie (Am. Ch. Ashway's Muncie Von Hausman) litter.
It is our hope that Stripe's offspring like herself will be loving pleasant Labradors for their owners. We look forward to her positive impact on our future generations.
